Elastrong Rialto/Rialto Venecia & Elastrong Paint Gum
ELASTRONG RIALTO/RIALTO VENEZIA | Is a homogeneous elastic medium grain coating, which provides a troweled finish. The product consists of special acrylic elastomeric resins in water dispersion which provide excellent weatherability and resistance to acids, U.V.rays and frost thaw cycles. Marble and sand selected grains and titanium dioxide hiding extenders give the product a high hiding power and a prestigious aesthetic finish. ELASTRONG RIALTO/RIALTO VENEZIA is characterized by a good filling power, excellent water repellence and vapour permeability properties: it also prevents the formation of moulds and algae. The special acrylic resins and the addition of synthetic fibres make the product elastic, stretchable and highly flexible. For this reason, it is recommended for protecting and restoring all wall surfaces, and especially those that may be subject to cracking or fissures. It has a low odour level, is non inflammable and is friendly to both humans and the environment. | ELASTRONG PAINT GUM | Is a matt and elastic coating for exterior surfaces. The product contains acrylic elastomeric resins in water dispersion, giving to the product outstanding elasticity, weatherability, water repellence, light stability and resistance to pollution. Furthermore, the product prevents the formation of mould and algae. Surfaces treated with ELASTRONG PAINT GUM maintain their vapour permeability and are easily washable. The product remains elastic over time, even when subject to frost thaw cycles and U.V. rays. ELASTRONG PAINT GUM by OIKOS is recommended for protecting and restoring historical centers, villas, residential complexes and all wall surfaces in general, especially those subject to cracking or fissures. ELASTRONG PAINT GUM can be used on its own, applying two coats, however for maximum efficiency it is advisable to carry out the full cycle of one coat of ELASTRONG GUM and one coat of ELASTRONG PAINT GUM. The product has a low odour level, is non inflammable and is friendly to both humans and the environment. | Interior and Exterior Walls ELASTRONG RIALTO/RIALTO VENEZIA | The surfaces must be completely dry and mature, the new plaster must mature at least 30 days in order to consent the carbonation process. Clean the surfaces to be decorated and remove loose or flaking materials. In case of new plasters, make sure the substrate is thoroughly dry. In case of restoration works, rectify large water infiltration or leakage. Allow the wall to dry, then apply the special primer BLANKOR by OIKOS. Allow the primer to dry for 6 - 8 hours then apply the finishing products. | ELASTRONG PAINT GUM | On old surfaces or surfaces with existing layers of paint, remove or wash away all loose or flaking material, smog stains, dust or dirt. Apply one coat of the special primer NEOKRYLL by OIKOS. Wait 4 ÷ 6 hours until dry. New surfaces must be thoroughly dry and mature, on new surfaces then apply one coat of the primer BLANKOR by OIKOS to improve the adhesion and render the absorption homogenous. Wait 6 ÷ 8 until dry. | ELASTRONG RIALTO/RIALTO VENEZIA | By stainless steel trowel, apply ELASTRONG RIALTO/RIALTO VENEZIA according to its grain thickness. Using the same tool, polish the surface by sleeking with circular movements to evenly spread the product. | ELASTRONG PAINT GUM | For a complete cycle of application, apply by brush, roller or spray gun (nozzle 1.7 ÷ 2 mm) a coat of the intermediate product ELASTRONG GUM by OIKOS. Following this, after approximately 6 hours, apply a coat of ELASTRONG PAINT GUM diluted 20 ÷ 30% with drinkable water. ELASTRONG PAINT GUM can be used on its own applying two coats diluted 20 ÷ 30% with drinkable water leaving 6 hours between coats. | In order to give the surface a paint wash effect apply, once the surface is thoroughly dry, a coat of VELDECOR by OIKOS ELASTRONG RIALTO/RIALTO VENEZIA | Dilution: Ready to use Yield: RIALTO: 0.6 – 0.7 m2/l; RIALTO VENEZIA: 1 m2/l. Application tools: stainless steel trowel Fixative: BLANKOR by OIKOS Application temperature: +5°C ÷ +36°C (relative humidity not higher than 80%) Tack free time: 3 ÷ 5 h (temperature = +20°C with relative humidity not exceeding 75%) Drying time - Fully cured: 24 hours (temperature = +20°C with relative humidity not exceeding 75%) Tools cleaning: water | ELASTRONG PAINT GUM | Dilution: 20 ÷ 30% with drinkable water. Yield: 8 ÷10m2 /l in one coat depending on the absorption of the surface. Application tools: Brush, roller, spray gun (nozzle 1.7 mm). Primer: NEOKRYLL, BLANKOR by OIKOS. Base Coat: ELASTRONG GUM by OIKOS. Application temperature: +5°C ÷ +36°C (with relative humidity not exceeding 80%) Drying time - tack free 2 ÷ 3 hours (temperature = 20°C with relative humidity at 75%) Drying time - fully cured 24 hours (temperature = 20°C with relative humidity at 75%) Tools cleaning: Water | ELASTRONG RIALTO/RIALTO VENEZIA | Composition: Acrylic elastomers in water dispersion, synthetic fibers, high coverage fillers based on titanium dioxide, marble, selected sand, preservatives and additives aimed at helping application and adhesion to substrate Specific weight: 1.71 kg/l +/- 3% (White) Texture: RIALTO max = 1.8mm; RIALTO VENEZIA max=1.2mm pH: 8,5 ÷ 9,5 | ELASTRONG PAINT GUM | Composition Acrylic elastomeric resins in water dispersion, titanium dioxide fillers, organic and inorganic pigments and preservatives to aid application and the formation of the surface film. Specific weight: 1.4 kg/l +/- 3% (White) pH: 8.5 ÷ 9.5 | Viscosity: 40,000 +/-5% CPS Brookfield (RVT 20 r.p.m. at 25°C) Storage temperature: +2°C ÷ +36°C. Keep away from frost Fire reaction: None if applied on a non-flammable surface: water based material with a thickness when dry or 0.600 mm. Water absorption W24: 0.3 kg/m2.h0.5 DIN 52 617 (max. allowed limit 0.5 kg/m2.h0.5 DIN 52 617) Vapour permeability Sd: 0.34 m (max. allowed limit 2 m DIN 52 615) Resistance to washing: In compliance to DIN 53 778, resistant at least 1,000 abrasive circles Resistance to abrasion: conforms to the norm DIN 53 778, resistant to more than 5,000 abrasive cycles. It does not contain toxic solvents, aromatics or chlorides. There is no risk of any dangerous polymerisation. The product is considered to be a non dangerous substance if used in the technically correct manner. Normal cautionary measures for the handling of water based paints are advised. No special arrangements are required for the storage, movement and transportation of the product; the containers, residue, eventual spilt material should be cleaned up using absorbent inert material such as sand, soil etc. etc.
