Home > Ultrasaten UltrasatenTechnical CharacteristicsULTRASATEN is a water based, acrylic enamel for walls, that comes in a gloss, matt or satin finish. The product is self-expanding, scratch resistant and resistant to abrasion. ULTRASATEN guarantees a good coverage with low thickness, a high yield, great washability and excellent resistance to yellowing, to alkali (ammonia and sodium solutions) alcohol, chemical detergents and dirt retention. Easy to clean and wash, it is ideal for public premises such as schools, hospitals, offices etc. It is a high quality product and conforms to the norm DIN 53 778. It is odourless, non-toxic, non-flammable and environmentally friendly. Ideal UseInterior & Exterior walls and surfaces. Surface PreparationClean the surface, removing any loose material. For crumbly or very absorbent substrates, apply the recommended acrylic fixative CRILUX or NEOFIX by OIKOS. Wait at least 6 hours before painting. In order to increase the coverage of the cycle use as primer IL PIGMENTATO by OIKOS. Application MethodApply two coats of ULTRASATEN diluted 20 ÷ 25% with drinkable water, leaving 4 ÷ 6 hours between each coat. ULTRASATEN can be applied by roller, brush or spray gun. It is a self-expanding product that does not leave signs of roller or brush strokes. Matt: 1.2 m (max allowed limit 2 m DIN 52 615) Resistance to washing: Conforms to the norm DIN 53 778, resistant to at least 1,000 abrasive cycles. Resistance to abrasion: Conforms to the norm DIN 53 778, resistant to more than 5,000 abrasive cycles, in this case over 60,000 hits of brush. Resistance to cleaning: Conforms to the norm DIN 53 778, cleaning of impurities and dirt with less than 800 abrasive cycles. Packaging: 1 - 2.5 - 4 - 10 - 14 l Toxicological Data: The product is free of heavy metals such as lead or chrome. It does not contain toxic solvents, aromatics or chlorides. There is no risk of any dangerous polymerisation. The product is considered to be a non dangerous substance if used in the technically correct manner. Normal cautionary measures for the handling of water based paints are advised. No special arrangements are required for the storage, movement and transportation of the product; the containers, residue, eventual spilt material should be cleaned up using absorbent inert material such as sand, soil etc. etc. and then disposed of in accordance with the regional and national regulations in force at that time. |
